Scarlett Johansson, American actress (born on November 22, 1985, in New York City New York) is well-known for her abilities to perform across genres such as period dramas to thrillers to action-packed films. The Horse Whisperer (2000) the film in which she played the role of a teenage girl who has a deformity caused by an accident, earned her critical acclaim. In Ghost World 2001 (as the young, sarcastic teenager Rebecca) Johansson was awarded an even greater amount of attention.
